Description

Guess what Elmo's thinking about today? Elmo opens his door and at this moment appeared two Muppet firefighters (performed by David Rudman and Stephanie D’Abruzzo) and a firetruck. Then comes a video of real firefighters. They are playing with some kids with fire engines and firefighter gear. 

Dorothy's Question

There is a statue of a firefighter at Dorothy’s fishbowl. She has a new question. She wants to know about firefighters' safety outfit as they put out fires.

The Noodle Family

Miss Noodle, tries to find out how a firefighter outfit looks. She dons a football uniform, then a suit of armor, then a firefighter’s gear. But after all, she loses control oft he firehose. 

Kids and Baby

Kids are wearing firefighting gloves, coat, and boots. Elmo visits a baby. It’s playing with a toy firefighter helmet. 

Elmo's Question

Elmo is wondering how many firefighters are in a CGI firetruck. 

Video E-Mail

Elmo receives a new e-mail. This is from Oscar. It shows how to make a toast, but the toast burns. Muppet firefighters coming to put out the fire. 

 Quiz

Elmo has a question to ask. He asks, what else can burn you? Birthday cakes, bowls can’t burn but candles and stoves can burn you, so you should not touch them. If a bowl has hot porridge just like the story of Baby Bear and The Big Bad Wolf can burn you too. 

Film

One of Elmo’s friends Sabrina wants to know how to get out a fire drill of her house safely. Then Elmo, practices "Get Low and Go" 

TV Cartoon

The Firefighters Channel has some cartoons to show: ‚ "Mike, the Firefighting Dog" , and "The Flamingo  of the Shrew" (Starring Carol Burnett.) 

Interview

Elmo interviews a real firefighter. His name is Firefighter Richard. He also interviews some Muppet firefighters. 

Tickle Me Land

At his segment, Dorothy imagines Elmo as a firefighter rescuing a cat from a tree and helping an injured Elmo who had a skateboard accident. Sesame Street Elmo's World Firefighters ends after the firefighters song.
