After this task, the pirates provide Elmo with a treasure map, leading them on a journey to the Fix-It Shop. According to the map, eight steps further lies the treasure. After careful counting, they find themselves at the Library, where the real treasure is revealed - the boundless pages of stories within the books that fill the library.

Then, the Smart Cookies team arrives at the local library with a mission - to prevent the Crumb from disrupting the library's peaceful atmosphere. The Crumb, however, slips in and wreaks havoc with his whoopie pie. With Miss Fortune's clue suggesting something string-like, Cookie Monster tries various stringed objects before using a net to capture the runaway whoopie pie. As the librarian sighs in relief at the restored quiet, the Smart Cookies unintentionally create a raucous chase after the Crumb.
