Gabi and Miles perform the tale of Rapunzel for Elmo and Zoe. Upon the conclusion of the story, Zoe expresses her desire for long hair like Rapunzel's. In a flash, Zoe's Hairy God-person appears to grant her wish! With a poetic incantation and a wave of his magical curling iron, he bestows Zoe with longer hair. Zoe experiments with various hairstyles before deciding on the "Rapunzel" style, braiding her long tresses into the shape of the letter "R."
Her new look catches the eye of a nearby prince (Matt Vogel), who implores "Rapunzel" to let down her hair. However, the question arises: how will she maintain it? This leads to a dreamy musical performance of "Take Care of Your Hair" (a parody of "Hair" from the eponymous musical), with Elmo and Zoe accompanied by brushes, combs, and shampoo bottles.
The prince returns to admire Zoe's hair, but it's still not as long as Rapunzel's. Unsatisfied with merely longer hair, she wishes for the longest hair. Her Hairy God-person obliges, but now Zoe's hair is so long and tangled that she's unable to move! The prince tries climbing her hair (causing Zoe discomfort), while a police officer (Martin P. Robinson) issues a ticket for obstructing traffic. Realizing the inconvenience, Zoe wishes to revert her hair to its original length. Everyone is content, except for the prince.
At that moment, Rapunzel herself appears, searching for her prince. The two soon find each other and rejoice in their happiness, despite the challenges posed by Rapunzel's voluminous hair.
