Chris makes some makeshift superhero costumes for them, and Mrs. Sanchez takes the photo with her phone, displaying it on the computer for Stinky to see.

Despite their efforts, Stinky still struggles with the idea of Chris leaving. Elmo doesn't have any more ideas, but Chris has one last strategy. He sings a song to Stinky called "I Will Always Come Back," assuring him that he will return. Stinky finally feels calm, and Chris leaves for work. Stinky then asks Mrs. Sanchez to teach him about "this alphabet I've heard so much about."
