It's fine, but it's hard to say for sure that Sesame Street character Elmo, by looking at his tweets, has a lover. Then are we giving up? Of course no. Because I got the opinion of a child psychologist on the subject. He's a close friend. He told me what childhood love was like:

“First of all, childhood love is not like the love of adults. It consists of spending time together and being happy to do something together.”

This information strengthened my opinion that Elmo had a girlfriend. Yes, Elmo had someone fell in love with, but Elmo was not comfortable admitting it. He was the character of a children's show and Sesame Street was never a love show.

So Who is Elmo's Girlfriend?

So could Abby Cadabby be Elmo's girlfriend? Although Elmo does not give a definite answer to this, but I think this is a very strong possibility. I watched many Sesame Street Specials starring together Elmo and Abby Cadabby. There is a great harmony between them and they are really fun together. 

I think there's no reason why they shouldn't be in love with each other. Abby Cadabby is Elmo's girlfriend and lover. 💕
