Sesame Street Episode 4233 - Sesame Street Fairy Tale Science Fair

Sesame Street Episode 4233
Sesame Street Fairy Tale Science Fair
Season 41
Samantha Harris visits Sesame Street

In Episode 4233 of Sesame Street, the street scenes focus on Sesame Street's "Fairy Tale Science Fair," where fairy tale characters use science to solve their problems. Telly, as the "Monster on the Spot" reporter, and Baby Bear, the "cub reporter," cover the event.

The first booth belongs to Little Red Riding Hood, who uses observation and comparison to figure out which woman is her real grandmother. Despite her efforts, she can't tell who's who. Telly and Baby Bear step in to help find the differences, eventually identifying one of the women as The Big Bad Wolf, who storms off in frustration.

In the next booth, Cinderella, a science enthusiast, tests whether a pumpkin will float or sink in her tank. Telly and Baby Bear guess it will sink, but to their surprise, it floats! Prince Charming arrives to present Cinderella with the glass slipper, which she also tests in the tank. They leave to get married and perform more science experiments.

Telly and Baby Bear then visit the Three Little Pigs' booth, but the pigs are panicking over the impending arrival of the Big Bad Wolf. Telly and Baby Bear ask the pigs questions about the wolf, helping them realize they need protection. Each pig chooses a different material for their house, but they don't know which one will be the strongest. They test the materials using a fan, which blows away the straw and sticks. The pigs quickly gather more bricks to build a sturdy house.

Just in time, the Big Bad Wolf arrives and attempts to blow down the brick house, but he fails. Recognizing Telly and Baby Bear for foiling his plan earlier, the wolf decides to conduct an experiment of his own: using air to move objects, particularly news reporters.

In the "Muppets / Celebrity" segment, Elmo becomes a reporter to help Samantha Harris explain the word "reporter." Since there's nothing to report on, Samantha creates a story for him to cover.

During a "Muppets" segment, Murray introduces Abby's Flying Fairy School, but first, he plays "Bring Out Your W" with New York citizens. The following "Animation" segment features fireflies leading the way to W words in the forest.

In the "Muppets / Animation" segment, Abby's Flying Fairy School focuses on a dance recital. Gonnigan, who claims he can't dance, receives special "Sugar Plum Fairy Dance Shoes" from Mrs. Sparklenose. However, the shoes start dancing away, and Gonnigan's attempts to catch them result in various physical movements. Mrs. Sparklenose points out that Gonnigan has inadvertently created a dance, which the other students perform in the recital.

Murray appears in another "Muppets" segment, announcing that it's almost time for "Super Grover 2.0." He looks for 18 of various things, followed by a "Cartoon" segment where eighteen pigs form acrobatic pyramids.

In the "Super Grover 2.0" segment, Grover helps a sheep and an elephant whose boat is uneven. After several failed attempts, Grover dresses as a sheep and hops into the boat, making each side even. The elephant gets out to untie the boat from the dock, sending Grover and the sheep flying into the lake.

Murray announces it's almost time for "Elmo's World" and plays "Sounds of the Street," asking the viewer to identify the sounds he hears. Following this, Ernie sings "I Wonder" in a "Muppets" segment.

In the "Elmo's World" segment, Elmo explores the topic of flowers, plants, and trees. Finally, Murray tries announcing the sponsors but forgets them. He rethinks the day, announces the sponsors, and signs off.
