Guess what Elmo’s thinking about today? - The Friends

Just as Elmo is about to explain what he's thinking today, the doorbell rings and Elmo opens it. Then Rosita, Cookie Monster, Telly, Zoe, The Count, Prairie Dawn, Baby Bear, Ernie and Bert, and Grover come in.

Sesame Street characters greet Elmo one by one. Big Bird is only sticking his head in the window because he can’t fit into the room. They are good friends. So they all shout "friends" together. Elmo and his friends all together tell the audience that Elmo is thinking about friends today.

Then friends are featured in a clip. Children together jump rope , draw pictures, talk on the phone, play games, share and help each other.

Elmo's World Friends Dorothy’s Question

Elmo kisses Dorothy and says she is her friend. Zoe appears and saying that the rock Rocco is her friend and kisses Rocco and walks away. Elmo says Rocco is a rock. 

Dorothy has been thinking about friends too and she has got a friend over to play in her bowl. Dorothy has a question how do you take turns with a friend.

Elmo's World Friends The Noodle Family

Elmo forwards Dorothy's question about "friends" to Mr. Noodle. Mr. Noodle and his sister Mrs. Noodle appears. Mrs. Noodle is not only Mr. Noodle’s sister but also his friend. Suddenly a swing descends into the room.

Then they try to show us how to take turns on a swing. At first, they argue a bit, because they can’t decide who goes onto the swing first. That isn't taking turns. Elmo and the kids explain what taking turns is: of two or more people, to do the same thing one after another.

Then Mrs. Noodle gets on the swing, while everything seems okay, Mr. Noodle sits on Mrs. Noodle's lap. it's not taking turns.

But then, Mr. Noodle and Mrs. Noodle finally take turns.

Elmo's World Friends Kids and Baby

Dorothy wants to ask someone else how do you take turns with a friends. That's why we turn to kids and babies. We see kids taking turns petting a pet bunny rabbit and use binoculars. They see a butterfly in the distance.

Then Elmo asks a baby how it takes turns and the two babies just played together with a stuffed bunny.

Zoe shows us how she takes turns with her friend Rocco while playing with a toy truck. Elmo tells her that Rocco is just a rock.

Then Elmo has a question for you: how many friends can fit on a boat. Elmo counts, there fits 9 friends and one Kangaru in a boat. And he makes a strange connection between the words friendship and friend ship.

Elmo's World Friends Quiz

Elmo says a kangaroo can be a friend and finds Drawer. Drawer hugs him and licks his face.

Elmo wonders who could be friends and takes a quiz about it. When he asks can a birthday cake and a balloon be a friend, gets answers no.

When he asks the same question for a firefighter, the answer is yes. Finally, Elmo asks if a plant can be a friend. Kids answer "sometimes, maybe" to this question. Stinky the Stinkweed is a plant that somebody could also be friends with.

Elmo's World Friends Video E-Mail

Elmo has got email from his friends Snuffy and Big Bird. They are best friends. Big Bird says that sometimes friends can argue too, and that he and Snuffy sometimes argue. Snuffy tells her that they never argued. Big Bird says they are currently arguing. Snuffy says he is right and they are still friends.

When it's time to say goodbye to Elmo, they again argue over who should say goodbye first. Finally, they find a solution and say goodbye together to Elmo.

Elmo's World Friends Film

This film is about Elmo's friend Rebecca and her friends. Elmo’s friend Rebecca tells Elmo about her friend Nicole. Nicole lives next door. They make jewelry with beads, love space exploration and read a book about space. When they are hungry and want a snack, they both want a banana, but they share it because there is only one banana left.

Then they go to the library with her mother to return the books. Rebecca carries the books and her friend Nicole opens the door. After the library they play catch and Daniel comes over and joins them. Rebecca has a great time when playing with her friends.

Elmo's World Friends TV Cartoon The Friends TV

Elmo wants to learn even more about friends. For that, he has to watch the Friends TV because a cartoon story about The Friend Lady is broadcast there. The announcer of Friends TV greets the audience and says this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Now the friends Channel presents the friend Lady. The Friend Lady says she loves making friends and sings "Stick Out Your Hand and Say Hello" about making new friends. (Stick Out Your Hand and Say Hello / you might meet someone just like you is really great to know...) 

The Friend Lady and her friends sing the last part of the song together. Coming up next on the Friends Channel: two great body movings For Me and My Pal and Chum and Chummer.

Elmo's World Friends Interview with Zoe

When the doorbell rings, Elmo opens the door and his best friend Zoe appears. Zoe asks him if he'd like to talk to a friend. Elmo wants to interview Zoe but she asks him to interview with Rocco.

Elmo thinks it’s silly to talk to a rock because it’s just a rock! Zoe tells him that you can have all kinds of friends including rocks. 

Elmo's World Friends Tickle Me Land

Rocco is imagining Elmo is a rock. Elmo and Elmo Rock sit on a log. Elmo Rock asks Elmo if he wants to be friends. Elmo doesn't take it positively, because Elmo Rock is a rock. Elmo Rock says they can still be friends and sings "Stick Out Your Hand and Say Hello."

Then, Sesame Street characters such as Elmo, Rosita, Grover, Cookie Monster, Telly, Zoe, The Count, Baby Bear, Big Bird, Prairie Dawn, Ernie and Bert sing the Friend Song together. Sesame Street Elmo’s World Friends video ends after the Friend Song.
