On a triumphant note, Chris welcomes everyone as Elmo, Abby, Leela, and some exuberant chickens return from their victorious tee-ball game. Amidst plans for a celebratory lemonade, an unexpected thunderstorm leads them to seek shelter inside Hooper's Store. Unfortunately, the loud thunder and flashing lightning scare the chickens, causing chaos inside the store.

As they try various ways to calm the chickens, such as using earmuffs and encouraging them to close their eyes, Chris humorously laments his responsibility for the store's condition. The chickens' fear doesn't subside until Leela's comforting touch, which helps one chicken overcome its fear. Inspired by this, Chris creatively turns the situation around by presenting the thunderstorm as an exciting show. Gradually, by counting between lightning flashes and thunderclaps, and mimicking loud noises in a controlled manner, all the chickens are finally calmed.

With the rave-like atmosphere, Chris finally proposes their much-awaited lemonade celebration.

The Sesame Street crew then introduces the letter of the day, 'W,' through a lively song and dance performance.

This is followed by a charming segment where a young girl creatively weaves her love for different types of weather with the letter 'W.'

In "Smart Cookies: Don't Rain on My Cookie," the Smart Cookies embark on a mission to protect an artist's masterpiece from the Crumb's havoc-causing 'cloud cookie.' Cookie Monster's ingenious problem-solving skills eventually save the day, although not without some hilarious missteps.

Joining in the fun, Count von Count and friends find the number of the day, '4,' with an energetic sing-and-stomp routine.

Highlighting the importance of water, a song illustrates its different uses and significance.

Ending the day on an exciting note, Murray Monster engages in a round of "Murray's Mind Games," featuring Ovejita with an array of sunny and rainy accessories, adding a dash of educational fun to the day.
