In this episode of Sesame Street, the street scenes revolve around Telly, Luis, and Little Chicken. The story begins with Luis making adjustments to Telly's bike when Little Chicken appears, hopping around excitedly. Telly interprets her actions and concludes that she wants to go for a bike ride. However, Luis doesn't have any bikes small enough for Little Chicken. She becomes sad, but Telly suggests that Luis build her a bike. Luis pulls out a diagram of a bike but anticipates some challenges in constructing it.

Luis successfully creates a bike frame from spare parts, and Telly and Little Chicken celebrate. However, Luis points out that they still need wheels, handles, and a seat. Telly sets out to find wheels and goes to Hooper's Store, where Alan serves Gina and Leela some personal pizzas. Telly considers using the pizzas as wheels but realizes that the pans would work better. He borrows them from Alan, explaining that they will make a chicken happy.

With the wheels attached, Little Chicken is delighted to have a bike. But Luis points out that they still need handles. Little Chicken becomes upset, and Telly returns to Hooper's Store. There, he watches Alan roll dough to make pretzel rods. Telly thinks about using a pretzel for handlebars but realizes they would break. Instead, he takes Alan's rolling pin, which seems perfect for the job.

Telly and Little Chicken believe the bike is complete, but Luis reminds them that they still need a seat. Little Chicken gets frustrated, prompting Telly to go back to Hooper's Store one last time. There, he spots a "to-go" container that Alan is using to pack a lunch. Alan lets Telly have it for the bike seat.

Now that Little Chicken's bike is finally complete, they find a helmet for her. Alan arrives to get some air in his tire and decides to join Telly and Little Chicken on their bike ride while Chris takes care of the store.
