Parent's Guide

Rutina Wesley and Elmo explain that a plan is basically a list of steps. You take these steps to get something done. Help your child make small plans for daily tasks. A three-step plan works for bedtime. This helps improve executive function. It'll help you feel more at ease during transitions.

Rocco the rock needs a tuxedo. It misses a tie. Elmo figures out that two little triangles make a perfect bow tie. This shows off their spatial reasoning skills. Help your child identify household objects. They should see what these objects could become. My brother once spent an entire afternoon turning cardboard boxes into a sturdy fort for his toy soldiers. Creativity can take simple shapes and make them look like something else.

Elmo's convinced Rocco's a rock. He ends up accepting the role of best man. He gets that the wedding is important to Zoe. Just remember to keep it fun. Join your child in their imaginary world. Don't correct them with reality. This shows how creative they are. It strengthens your emotional connection.

Grover and Rosita explore triangles. Elmo uses those shapes for wedding attire. This is a chance to apply real-world math. Go on a shape safari in your kitchen. Have your child find three different triangles. Point out how shapes function in the world. A triangle provides a sturdy support. This makes abstract concepts concrete.

Ducks and chickens are bickering in the Birdwalk Empire segment. They're not sure whose walk is better. They decide to create a new walk together. This teaches social negotiation. Encourage kids to mix it up and try new ideas when they come up with clashing ones. This third way of thinking is a great foundation for conflict resolution. It improves teamwork.

In The Life of Whoopie Pie, Cookie Monster controls his desire to eat a cookie boat. It's like the patience you need for a long flight. This is all about learning to wait for the right moment. It was written Rocco on the cake, he finds the missing letter and adds R letter on it.

Next step in the plan is Rocco's tuxedo. Zoe helps him to dress up, but they face a problem, there is no tie. Rocco feels so sad and even thinks to cancel wedding. Elmo finds a solution that will help to solve problem, Elmo gets two small triangle that when put together, make up his bow tie.

It’s time for the guests to arrive. But, Zoe and Rocco are sad no one's come yet. Leela arrives with Chris and Alan, they have closed Hooper's Store early just for the occasion. Elmo count the guests and make sure there are 14 guests because 14 is Rocco's favorite number.

Soon, more guests arrive, they are Gina, Bob, Luis, Maria, Herry and the kids, but they're short one guest. Telly rushes in, he hopes that he is not late and Elmo adds him to the total number. Wedding begins, but there is one more problem, Rocco needs a best man. He offers Elmo, Elmo accepts it. 

Muppets / Celebrity: Rutina Wesley, who is an American actress, is in Sesame Street Episode 4424. Elmo and Abby is with her and they talk about the word plan.

Muppets: Murray and Ovejita prepare a letter Y, it is the letter of the day. They use a yam, yeast and yogurt.

Abby's Flying Fairy School: Murray and the girls introduce Abby's Flying Fairy School. Today in class Mrs. Sparklenose expresses the students are able to earn their Fairy Godmother wings by participating in the “Cinderella Challenge”. There is a brief game of “Eeny Meeny Miney Ming”, Blögg is chosen to the Cinderella.

Muppets: We see Grover and Rosita, they talk about triangle. And then we see Murray and Ovejita again. Ovejita presses the button and 14 butterflies appear.

Cookie's Crumby Pictures: Murray and the children introduce "Cookie's Crumby Pictures" It  presents Life of Whoopie Pie. Whoopie is a young man, he has a cookie made boat, and he lost at the sea. We see Cookie Monster at the boat, he starts to eat boat, because he cannot stop himself when seeing cookies. Whoopie gets sad because of the leak at the boat. Cookie Monster finds the way stop himself, he sings a song and forget eating boat, but they have unexpected guest that is a shark.

Birdwalk Empire: Nucky Ducky and his mallard crew walk. They have their own walk. They meet the rival gang of chickens, led by Clucky Luciano, who have their own walk too and begin an argument. Agent Van Cuckoo lands on the scene and they have an idea to stop argument, he makes them a new walk they can all do together.

Elmo the Musical: Children and Murray introduce "Elmo the Musical." Sesame Street Episode 4424 goes on with Elmo's musical. The name of the part is Airplane the Musical. Elmo imagines himself as an airplane pilot. A penguin hires Elmo as a pilot. Elmo fly penguin bride-to-be to the South Pole for her wedding at 11 o'clock

Baby Bear is checking out the wing design of a butterfly. He looks closely at the stitching on his glove. He's not into the tee ball game. Chris tells Baby Bear that he's more into cooking than sports. This conversation gives Baby Bear the courage he needs. He tells Papa Bear he doesn't like the game. You get the importance of individual autonomy. Parents often sign their kids up for activities they did as kids. They're hoping to build a shared bond. Forcing a child into a mold just causes frustration. Take a look at where your kid is looking. If they're more into art than playing games, try to find activities that align with that interest. Papa Bear gets that connecting with people is more important than baseball. They switch to drawing together. I felt the same pressure when my dad bought me a leather catcher's mitt, even though I loved drawing maps. Ask your child what activity makes them feel like themselves.

Blögg turns himself into his opposite. He becomes clean and orderly. At first, his friends liked the change. They soon miss the original Blögg. The new version just doesn't have his fun personality. You can use this story to teach comparative vocabulary. Let's talk about how people's unique habits make them lovable. Self-improvement has its limits. Trying to be someone else can come across as inauthentic to your friends.

Cookie-san has a hard time focusing during karate training. Cookies are a distraction for him. This story is about impulse control. Kids have a hard time focusing when there are toys or snacks around. Use the karate metaphor at home. Tell your child to use their focus to finish their homework before they get a treat. Think of it as a skill they can develop.

Albert Pujols and Grover talk about being an athlete. Grover tries to prove his status. Albert's got the skills. Redefine physical literacy for your child. An athlete uses their body to move and play. The activity includes dancing and hiking. Kids shouldn't feel left out if they're not the best at a certain game.

Elmo's up against this huge athlete. He uses perseverance and imagination instead of size. It's more important to put in the effort than to worry about the outcome. Kudos for the effort and the hard work. Try not to get too hung up on the win. This helps you develop a healthy relationship with exercise.

And then they begin, their first step is to practice hitting. Baby Bear revs up, but suddenley he sees a butterfly and quickly distracted, he likes its wing design so much. Papa Bear steers him back to the tee, and says him to keep his eye on the ball. Baby Bear does so but at the same time he becomes fascinated with butterfly's round shape and wants to draw it.

Papa Bear tells him he can draw after they practice. Abby appears on the scene, having found his bat. She reveals she plays for the Powder Poof league and magically she hits the ball away. She learns that most of people  use the bat to hit the ball and she finds it more fun! She goes home to her mommy.

Cookie Monster comes when Papa Bear and Baby Bear play Wee Tee Ball. He wants to join game, explains that he knows how to play and her mum is a coach. He takes a swing and delivers Papa Bear a great hit. After this great hit, he wants a cookie, but Papa Bear does not have a cookie, and Cookie Monster eats  the ball and bat instead of cookie and he leaves for a game of "Cookie Tennis."

Although Cookie ate the ball, Papa Bear still has a whole bucket full. Without the bat, he is prepared to practice catching instead. He throws him a ball, but Baby Bear fails to catch it, because he is interested in the stitching of his mitt and want to draw it. Later they try again and Baby Bear can catch, and they decide today is enough, because his arm is tired.

Papa Bear decides that they practice running now and he runs down the block, he hopes Baby Bear will follow. Baby Bear start to draw and meet Chris. Chris says that he meet his dad when running so fast. Papa Bear returns, Baby Bear admits he doesn't like Wee Tee Ball. Papa Bear understands and they decide to do different thing both they like.

Muppets / Celebrity: Albert Pujols who is a Dominican-American baseball first baseman, is in Sesame Street Episode 4423. He talk about athlete with Grover. 

Murray has a little lamb: Murray's ready for school, and Ovejita is with him. They go baseball school.

Cookie's Crumby Pictures: Murray and the children introduce "Cookie's Crumby Pictures". It presents The Biscotti Kid. Mr. MiCookie wants to teach Cookie Monster the ancient art of "Biscotti Karate". He warns him to listen and watch carefully, but Cookie cannot concentrate on and he focuses on the black-and-white cookie belt instead. His first attempt results with fail. But later he listens carefully and learns. Finially he can achieve . He earns the cookie belt. 

Muppets: Oscar announces the GrouchBO hit series, the name of the part is True Mud. A mysterious man enters a restaurant and he says the waitress he wants true mud.The other customers begin to assume he's a Grouch. 

Elmo the Musical: Murray and Daphnie are on the stage, they introduce "Elmo the Musical." Sesame Street Episode 4423 goes on with Elmo's musical. Elmo imagines himself as a athlete.

He faces off against an Enormous Athlete to win a pair of golden shoes that is a coveted prize Elmo wants to win. At the end of the play Enormous Athlete wins, Velvet thinks it is a bad thing, but Elmo does not think like him, he does not care losing, Elmo has fun when playing the game.

At the end of the Sesame Street Episode 4423, Murray presents the sponsors. Episode ends there.
