Sesame Street Iron Monster and Sesame Heroes is a special that aired in 2010. The 49-minute video is superhero themed and includes some street stories.

The Furry Four (4218), Ironing Monster (4216), Elmo steps in for Super Grover (4176), Slimey Wants To Be A Hero Just Like Trash Gordon (4124) are street stories featured in the special.

A bonus has also been added to the Iron Monster and Sesame Heroes: Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures Superheroes.

When the Super Grover cape isn't ready, he transforms into Iron Monster. Sesame Street characters such as Rosita, Abby Cadabby and Elmo also take part in this epic story where Super Grover uses his math and science skills. It can be said that Iron Monster and Sesame Heroes is a parody of Iron Man.

The Furry Four street story is a parody of the Fantastic Four. Telly reads to Elmo and Abby Cadabby the story of the 4 superheroes "Furry Four". Elmo, Abby and Telly take on costumes and pretend to be superheroes from the story. But the 4th hero in the story is missing. That's why they tour Sesame Street and eventually Chris becomes the 4th hero.

In "Elmo steps in for Super Grover," another street story, Super Grover asks for a superhero to help him. He is on a quest and comes across an elephant named Horatio. Horatio the elephant always wants to help Super Grover, but because he's big, he gets stuck in the doors and needs help. Super Grover finally thinks it would be a good idea to work alone in Iron Monster and Sesame Heroes.

In the street story "Slimy Wants To Be A Hero Just Like Trash Gordon", Slimey wants to be a superhero just like Trash Gordon. Elmo and Rosita are skeptical about this, but Oscar doesn't think like them and encourages Slimey. The cape-wearing superhero Slimey helps Elmo, Rosita, Gabi and Miles.
