Stunning Information About Herring Staff

The Herring Staff is a Pre-Hardmode summoning weapon found in Shadow Chests in Hell. Summons an attacking Herring to attack enemies. Unlike most minions, Herring only takes up half a minion slot, allowing the player to collect twice as many Herrings as single-slot minions.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Legendary modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the first summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal with critical hits. The only permanent advantage of the Legendary Herring Wand over the Brutal one is recoil.

Other Informations:

Despite being called a "Herring Staff", the herring has a distinctive silver-like reflective color, while the petite is dark blue in color, so it doesn't look like a real petite herring created by the wand.
