Creating Your Own Sesame Street Food Cards

The famous Sesame Street children's TV show is a long-running program that has won both parents' and children's hearts. The videos are filled with fun and lively segments that feature some of the most famous faces worldwide. Children love to watch these, and the great thing about them is that they're not just for kids. If you're looking for free downloads of Sesame Street Food Cards, then you're in luck.

If you live outside the US or don't have access to cable TV, you probably haven't watched one of the Sesame Street videos. They're hilarious and entertaining, but they're also filled with helpful educational facts as well. Sesame Street has some great options if you want to get your kids interested in healthy eating and nutrition. You can find free downloads of Sesame Street food cards worldwide, but there are some things you should know first.

You see, while Sesame Street is kid-friendly (and has very few mature topics), it's also entirely politically incorrect. If you're not careful, you could find yourself labeled as a racist or sexist for even mentioning this particular topic. So, what can you do? Download a few street food cards of your own and show them to your kids, so they know why the characters on the street are doing what they do.

Another great thing about Sesame Street is an excellent variety of foods that they serve. While it's impossible to watch the show and not come across a hot dog or pizza, you can still create a great selection of healthy dishes for your kids to enjoy. If you're using the Sesame Street Food Cards to teach your kids about healthy nutrition, you can find some great recipes right online.

When you download these street food cards, all you have to do is choose which character from the many on the menu you want to serve up to your child. You then select the items that you think will appeal the most to your child, whether by changing the word of ingredient around, rearranging the words on the card, or perhaps by adding a different vegetable or fruit to the menu. Once you've selected the food you would like to serve up, all you have to do is choose the restaurant, and you're good to go!

Of course, you'll want to pick out street show cards that appeal to your child as well. Luckily, because this is an animated series, you're likely to be able to find many Sesame Street food cards that your child will enjoy. Just make sure you pick the right one. For example, if M Abby is hosting the "Big Bird" show, you might want to download a Street Foods card depicting her standing in a birdcage.

You can also create your street card with the help of some MS Paint applications. Be sure you pick out the background and the card's appearance carefully, so it fits the character on the screen you're emulating. For example, if you're using Marge, you can choose to draw a happy little Marge for the card. Or you can pull her holding a Big Bird figurine. There are endless possibilities.

If you want to save some money, you might even consider making your street show and food cards. It's surprisingly easy. All you need is a simple computer and a printer. All you need is cardboard, some black poster board, and some brightly colored cellophane. Put all of this together, print up a batch of street food cards, and you have yourself a cheap commercial set of cards to serve up at your next street fair or event!
