History and Origin of Hinokami Kagura
Hinokami Kagura, also known as the Dance of the Fire God, is a unique and ancient swordsmanship style originating from the Kamado family in the Demon Slayer series. The origins of Hinokami Kagura can be traced back to the first Sun Breathing user, Yoriichi Tsugikuni. As the story goes, Yoriichi created the Breath of the Sun style, which became the foundation for all other Breathing techniques in the Demon Slayer Corps. However, over time, the original techniques were altered and adapted into various other Breathing styles, leading to the loss of the original Breath of the Sun style.
Rooted in tradition and folklore, this powerful technique has been passed down through generations of the Kamado lineage. Hinokami Kagura is said to be the last remaining vestige of the original Breath of the Sun style, preserved within the Kamado family through a ritualistic dance performed annually during the Fire Festival. Each generation, the head of the Kamado family would pass down the dance and its accompanying techniques to the next in line, ensuring the preservation of this once-lost art. The history of Hinokami Kagura is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Tanjiro Kamado is unaware of the true importance and power of dance until he discovers its potential in his quest to become a demon slayer and save his sister Nezuko Kamado.
